Turn the spotlight on your manuscript by winning self-publishing help—or cash. Self-Publishing Services LLC is offering a $300 top prize, or the equivalent in marketing or business planning help, to the winner of its fiction contest.
HERE’S THE BREAKDOWN:
All you have to do is submit the first few pages of your fiction or non-fiction work—that’s up to 1,000 words—and a $25 entry fee to us by October 31. (Easy to remember cuz it’s Halloween. Insert deadline pun here!) Multiple submissions are allowed with a separate entry fee for each. And, just because we think every author should be empowered in their career, every entrant receives a free digital copy of our book, The Author’s Guide: Learn How to Publish a Book and What You Need to Know Before You Start Your Writing Career.
Our hand-picked panel of SPS editors will review entries, and have the ultimate challenge of narrowing the choice down to ten. That’s when they’ll all get together to decide the winner, and the second- and third-prize winner. That’s right. Second place wins $200 and third place wins $100. All prizes are the winner's choice–either cash or the equivalent value in marketing or business planning assistance. Winners will be notified and announced publicly December 1.
