We’re excited to announce that one of our clients, Pam Gardiner, is having a reading event at one of SPS’ favorite bookstores, Fact & Fiction in downtown Missoula!

What sets Gardiner apart is not only her insight into the aging experience but also her innovative approach to marketing. Recognizing the alignment between her readers and the mission of Missoula Aging Services (MAS), she reached out to the organization directly. The result was a unique and meaningful partnership: MAS embraced her book so fully, they integrated it into their strategic planning efforts.

Proceeds from the book go directly to Missoula Aging Services, further strengthening Gardiner’s commitment to giving back to the community her work so thoughtfully serves. Her book offers wisdom, humor, and support in equal measure.

About the Book

It happens to everyone. No one is fully prepared. “Growing Older” faces the facts about aging and inspires the reader to engage the process with confidence. Born in 1963, the youngest Baby Boomers have turned 60 . With that passage, the largest generation is plunging into the adventure of aging. With a reputation for questioning tradition, Boomers are determined to “do it” their own way.

Born in 1946, the author belongs to earliest year of the Boom. In the quest for helpful insights, she began writing weekly essays on personal-growth topics in 2009. In 2014, she published a collection of those essays as a book: “Going Deeper: Reflections on Challenge and Change." A decade later, she has produced the current book: "Growing Older: Reflections on Aging and Grace.” While aiming for the upbeat, the author also faces difficult topics head-on. This book belongs on a bedside table, waiting to be read when the Spirit moves.
